Former president of the "Progressive Socialist Party," Walid Jumblatt, welcomed a delegation from "Hezbollah" in Kleinson on Thursday. The delegation included the political assistant to Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hussein Khalil, and the head of the Coordination and Liaison Unit, Wafiq Safa, with the presence of MPs Wael Abu Faour and Hadi Abu al-Hassan.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest local and regional political developments, particularly the "field developments in the south and the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon." They also addressed the Syrian displacement crisis and how to achieve a unified Lebanese stance on this issue. The meeting provided an opportunity to inform the Hezbollah delegation about the paper prepared by the "Progressive Socialist Party" regarding this matter, which includes specific practical ideas that will be presented to various political forces starting next week.
