Lieutenant General Yahya Rahim Safavi, the senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, confirmed that "Israel feels terrified of Iran's anticipated retaliation." According to the official news agency (IRNA), Safavi mentioned that "the Zionists have been living in fear for a week, have declared a state of alert, and have halted their expected attack on Rafah because they do not know what Iran intends to do and when and how its response will come. This is why fear surrounds the Zionist entity and its protectors." During a memorial ceremony for the slain General Mohammad Reza Zahidi in the bombing of the Iranian consulate, Safavi pointed out that "this psychological, political, and media war is more frightening to the Zionists than the war itself, forcing some of them to flee and others to seek shelter every night due to their fear of the Iranian attack."
