Progressive Party Rejects Armed and Unarmed Demonstrations

The Media Commission of the "Progressive Socialist Party" emphasized that "in light of this critical phase the country is going through, and the utmost necessity to embrace and support the official security and military institutions, as well as to unite around a state logic that protects everyone, and in the face of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, any form of armed or unarmed demonstrations, as occurred in the northern region or elsewhere, is unacceptable and condemned under any circumstances; the primary concern must remain national unity, solidarity, and civil peace."
