Syrian President Bashar Assad issued decree No. (99) for the year 2024 on Saturday, determining Monday, July 15, 2024, as the date for the election of members of the People's Council for the fourth legislative term. The decree also specified the number of People's Council members allocated for both the workers and farmers sector and other sectors of the population in the electoral districts.
