The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed today, Saturday, that the suspects involved in the attack on a concert hall in the Moscow suburbs on Friday, which was claimed by ISIS, are "foreign citizens." The ministry stated that the four suspects apprehended are "foreign citizens" without revealing their nationalities. Earlier, Russian media and a Russian deputy confirmed that some of the suspects are from Tajikistan.
Meanwhile, health authorities in Moscow announced that the death toll from the terrorist act at "Crocus City Hall" has risen to 140 people. Russian President Vladimir Putin, who described the attack as a "bloody terrorist act," stated, "All the perpetrators, the four who executed the terrorist attack, have been found, and all those who shot and killed people have been arrested."
He added, "They attempted to hide and moved towards Ukraine, and according to preliminary information, the Ukrainian side prepared a 'corridor' for them to cross the state border." The Russian president indicated that "the murderous and inhuman terrorists, who lack a nationality and cannot belong to any ethnicity, will face a fate they do not envy - retribution and oblivion; they have no future." He also stated that "investigative and law enforcement bodies will do their utmost to determine all the details of the crime."
