The artist Lablab talked about her long relationship with the artist Adel Imam and his recent honor. During her interview with the media personality Jumana Bouaid, Lablab said: "Adel Imam and I have a long history together; we worked on the last two series 'Sahib El Saada' and 'Mamoun wa Sharkah', every day we are together, we eat, think, and act together. I have spent more time with him than I have with my family at home."
Lablab added: "The bond between Adel and me is significant; I feel him and understand him by his eyes, knowing when he will say something. I can never ruin his joke; he knows how much I love him and how much I worry about him. I can tell if he is upset or happy just by his walk in the studio corridor."
Regarding Adel Imam's honor, Lablab said, "I cried during Adel Imam's honor, because they showed clips of his work; those eyes belong to Professor Adel. They can laugh and cry, presenting you with misery, the underprivileged, and the joyful. He is truly the leader of art and our beloved. Adel Imam wins my heart, and when I see him, I feel like I see all of art."
Lablab recalled a moment she shared with the leader: "When my mother was ill, he didn’t leave me; he was worried about me. And when she passed away, we were sitting at the funeral, and he told me to eat because I lost weight and started to scare people by laughing during the mourning."
On another note, actress Lablab is awaiting the release of her latest film "Al Shanab." The film's events unfold in a light family context, revolving around the sudden death of a member of the Al Shanab family, forcing the family members to travel to Alexandria to participate in the funeral and mourning rituals.
