UAE Lights Up Major Landmarks in Russian Flag Colors in Solidarity

Key landmarks and buildings in the United Arab Emirates, including the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) building, were illuminated in the colors of the Russian flag on Saturday evening in solidarity with Moscow following the terrorist attack that occurred in a concert hall at a shopping center in the Russian capital, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of innocent people.

This initiative is part of the UAE's solidarity and strong condemnation of "these criminal acts, and its ongoing rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that aim to undermine security and stability and contravene international law." It also expresses the UAE's stance, both leadership and populace, with Russia and its people in the face of terrorist attacks.

As part of the solidarity campaign with Russia, Abu Dhabi Global Market, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, the Municipality of Al Dhafra City, ADNEC Abu Dhabi, Khalifa University, the Mubadala building, and Sheikh Zayed Bridge were lit in Abu Dhabi, while in Dubai, the Dubai Frame and Burj Al Arab were illuminated.
