Kuwaiti Artist Hospitalized After Stroke

Kuwaiti artist Ibrahim Al-Salal suffered a stroke and was subsequently transferred to Jaber Hospital. His son, Khaled Ibrahim Al-Salal, announced on his account on the "X" platform: "My father, the crown of my head, experienced a health crisis and was taken to Jaber Hospital, where it was found that he had suffered a stroke. Thanks to God Almighty, he has overcome it... and his condition is currently stable. Please remember him and all sick Muslims in your prayers." He added, "O Allah, we ask You by every name that is Yours to heal him and grant him recovery, and to heal every patient."

The esteemed artist Ibrahim Al-Salal is known for his timeless theatrical and dramatic works, overwhelming successes, distinguished roles, and natural performance coupled with a sense of humor. He is considered one of the best portrayals of elderly men from the first generation, remaining true to his simplicity, kindness, spontaneity, and traditional expressions and customs despite the changes that have affected our communities. Al-Salal is regarded as one of the great Kuwaiti theater and drama artists who witnessed the theatrical and dramatic movement in Kuwait since its inception, belonging to a generation that studied under the great Egyptian artist Zaki Talimat, who was brought to Kuwait in the 1960s to establish theatrical arts in the country on academic and scientific foundations.
