Jumblatt: It Seems News from Gaza Hasn't Reached You Yet

The former president of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, commented on a statement from one of the activists on the platform "X." He wrote: "It seems, dear professor, that like many Arab regimes, you hate the Muslim Brotherhood and forget Palestine. Regarding terrorism, it seems that news from Gaza and Al-Shifa Hospital hasn't reached you yet." He stated, "I don't believe the Israelis can control Gaza, but it is impossible to predict what will happen amidst the ongoing displacement of Palestinians from Gaza." He continued, "There should be a ceasefire and an end to the massacres before discussing politics and how to reach a political solution. Washington has supported the massacres since the first day of the war." He questioned, "Does the Zionist plan accept the presence of Palestinians? They are attempting to implement a new 'transfer' in Gaza, similar to what happened in 1948 when 800,000 Palestinians were displaced."
