Ukraine Shoots Down 4 Drones Involved in Russian Night Attack

The Ukrainian army announced today, Wednesday, that the Ukrainian Air Force shot down all four drones used in a Russian attack on central regions last night. The Shahed drones were destroyed over the Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr areas. The governor of Kirovohrad region stated via Telegram that the attack caused a fire in the area which has since been extinguished. Separately, the governor of Dnipropetrovsk region reported via Telegram this morning that a Russian missile attack on Tuesday caused the destruction of four educational institutions and nine residential buildings in Dnipro, injuring 18 people. Recently, Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine, targeting the electricity network infrastructure to cause significant damage to the country's energy system.
