The events in the Gaza Strip have led the Jordanian Artists Association to refrain from granting the necessary permits for holding concerts to celebrate the New Year. The head of the Jordanian Artists Association, director Mohammed Youssef Al-Abadi, confirmed that no permits would be issued for any concerts due to the current situation in Gaza and throughout Palestine. According to Al-Abadi, the decision to prohibit concerts aligns with the official and popular stance of Jordan. He noted that the association has decided not to allow any artistic events since the beginning of the war in Gaza, which will also apply to New Year celebrations should the crisis continue.
