In the ongoing communications between parties to address the presidential file and complete the electoral process, "Al-Anbaa" has learned that discussions are ongoing between Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, based on their mutual understanding of the importance of dialogue. The source explained that the Shiite duo highly appreciates the role played by the FPM delegation at the meeting in Bkerke, as it prevented some from escalating tensions and maintained proper national communication norms. Regarding the presidential file, it has also been revealed that there are complete working teams actively campaigning for three candidates. One of them is public: former Minister and head of the Marada Movement, Sleiman Frangieh, who is operating through a team of former and current ministers and MPs, led by his son, MP Tony Frangieh. There is another team for a known but unofficial candidate, and a complete team that operates under silence diplomacy for a candidate deemed the most favored given the current regional circumstances. These working teams are expected to become more active in light of the repercussions of the ceasefire project issued by the Security Council. Each of the three campaigns will strive to support their candidate, with the understanding that the doors of Parliament may open for a crucial electoral session this time, where President Nabih Berri will invite the elected president to take the constitutional oath and deliver the inauguration speech, according to "Al-Anbaa."
