Death of American Rapper Chris King in Tragic Circumstances

Social media was abuzz with the news of the death of American rapper Chris King, at the age of 32, after he was shot by a group of armed individuals who attempted to rob him in Nashville, Tennessee. The popular musician was out for an evening stroll with two friends in downtown Nashville, where he had arrived to participate in the Nashville Canifest festival, when they were targeted in a robbery. King was shot and rushed to the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. A Nashville police report stated that one of King’s friends, who miraculously survived, recounted the moments leading up to the gunfire, revealing that three unknown men approached King and his friends and attempted to rob them, after which the shooting occurred. King’s real name was Christopher Cheeks, and he was a close friend of many global celebrities. Following the news of his death, several of them rushed to express their sadness and shock over the incident, with Justin Bieber writing on his Instagram page, “I love you, bro. This is painful news. I’ll see you in heaven, brother.” The late artist's latest work was a song titled “Seeing Double Seeing Double,” which he released on April 8 of this year.
