Inflation in Turkey Soars!

The annual inflation rate in Turkey rose in April, reaching 69.8% compared to 68.5% in March. The Turkish National Institute of Statistics reported that consumer goods prices increased by 3.2% month-on-month. It is noteworthy that in March, the Turkish central bank decided to raise the interest rate to 50% annually, contrary to expectations of keeping the rate at 45%.
