Syrian President Bashar al-Assad expressed his belief today, in an exclusive interview with Russian channel "Solovyov," that former American President Donald Trump will win the upcoming U.S. presidential elections. Assad said, "Analysis of the media and other information indicates that Trump will win." He affirmed that "U.S. presidents are not different from each other." The Syrian president added, "As I said before, they are just executives. We need to know who really makes the policy behind the candidate who will win the elections." He pointed out that "the lobby, media, funders, bankers, arms, and oil are one player. They are the winner anyway." The U.S. presidential elections are scheduled for November 5, 2024. Polls show that Donald Trump is the frontrunner in the Republican primaries, and he is expected to face current President Joe Biden.
