Palestinian health officials announced that "the Israeli army killed a 16-year-old Palestinian today, Saturday, near the city of Hebron in the West Bank." Health officials specified that "the Palestinian's name is Milad Munther Al-Raee (16 years old) and he was shot in the back at the entrance of the Al-Aroub refugee camp." Local Palestinian media reported that "Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear gas at young men in the Al-Aroub refugee camp in southern West Bank during a raid." For its part, the Israeli army stated that "armed individuals threw explosive devices at soldiers stationed nearby." It added in a statement that "the soldiers responded using riot dispersal methods and live ammunition," but did not confirm the young man's death.
