Al-Najma avenged its earlier loss to Al-Safaa by winning 2-1 in the third round of the "top group" for the top six teams at the end of the first half of the Lebanese football league's 63rd season. The match took place this afternoon at the Fouad Chehab Sports Complex in Jounieh. Al-Najma's goals were scored by Rabi Ataya and Khalil Bader in the 13th and 73rd minutes, while Muhammad Qadouh scored for Al-Safaa in the 80th minute.
