Title: Saudi Arabia Thwarts Attempt to Smuggle Over 400,000 Captagon Tablets

The Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at the Islamic Port of Jeddah succeeded in thwarting an attempt to smuggle 416,250 Captagon pills, which were found hidden in a shipment that arrived in the Kingdom through the port. The authority explained that the shipment was described as "curtains," and during customs procedures and inspection using security technologies and live methods, the quantity of pills was discovered cleverly concealed within the "curtains." The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority affirmed its commitment to maintaining strict customs control over imports and exports in the Kingdom and remains vigilant against smuggling attempts, in continuous coordination and cooperation with its partners in the General Directorate for Drug Control, to ensure the security of the community and protect it from such scourges.
