Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns Targeting of Civilians in Northern Gaza

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed today, Thursday, "the Kingdom's strong condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of unarmed civilians in northern Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of dozens and injuries to hundreds due to the bombing of humanitarian aid queues by the occupying forces in Gaza." The ministry confirmed in a statement the "Kingdom's firm rejection of violations of international humanitarian law by any party and under any pretext." It reiterated the Kingdom's demand for the international community to take a firm stance to compel Israel to respect international humanitarian law, to immediately open safe humanitarian corridors, to allow the evacuation of the wounded, and to enable the delivery of relief and medical supplies without restrictions, in order to alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe and prevent its escalation. Additionally, it stressed the necessity of reaching an immediate ceasefire to prevent further casualties among innocent civilians.
