An informed media source revealed that "the visit of Secretary of State Blinken to Baghdad will be accompanied by three specific preventive measures, given the heightened sensitivity in the U.S. regarding the situation amid rising hostility towards Washington in Iraq and the region in general due to its stances on events in Gaza."
The source added that "many aspects of his visit will be kept secret regarding the timing of the plane's arrival, in addition to other security measures," noting that "he will hold 3-4 meetings with governmental and political leaders, some of which may not be announced before his departure, indicating that his visit will last for several hours."
He pointed out that "unlike previous visits, where American officials followed specific protocols, this may be overlooked due to the sensitivity of the situation," emphasizing that "the security of the visit will be the responsibility of the Iraqi side in coordination with the accompanying security forces for Blinken."

The security official in the Iraqi "Hezbollah" Brigades, known as "Abu Ali al-Askari," stated in a message via "Telegram" that "Blinken's visit is unwelcome." He confirmed that if Blinken visits, "we will respond with unprecedented escalation."
Al-Askari added in his statement that "closing the U.S. embassy in Iraq and preventing American citizens from entering Iraq will be achieved in our own non-peaceful manner because peaceful dealing with killers is cowardice and neglect."
