Sheikh Mohammed: We Believe That Reading Changes Lives and Creates Different Generations

The Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stated through the "X" platform: "Today, I reviewed the numbers from the eighth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge, the largest project in the world to encourage students to read." He noted that "229,000 schools from fifty countries participated in this edition, with a total of 28 million students supervised by 154,000 supervisors." He concluded: "We believe that reading can change lives... We believe that reading will create different generations and will open the doors to knowledge and civilization. We thank all participating countries and wish millions of students a wonderful journey in life with reading."
