Army Receives Donation from Canadian Authorities

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement today, Tuesday: "A ceremony was held at the Logistics Brigade in Kfarshima for the receipt of equipment donated by the Canadian authorities to the Lebanese Army, attended by the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Stefanie McCollum, the Commander of the Logistics Brigade representing Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, and several officers. Ambassador McCollum affirmed Canada's continued cooperation with the Army and its provision of various forms of support, given its essential role in maintaining security and stability in Lebanon. The Commander of the Logistics Brigade, Brigadier General Johnny Akal, expressed gratitude to the Canadian authorities for the donation, considering it to have a significant impact on improving performance and maintaining full readiness in the execution of operational and security missions."
