German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov in Odessa on Saturday during an unannounced visit, as reported by Deutsche Welle. During the meeting, Lambrecht promised to supply Kyiv with "Iris-T" air defense systems in the coming days, stating, "Ukraine is currently facing an incredibly large number of air attacks, which is why it is very important to provide more support for air defense." The German Ministry of Defense posted on Twitter: "By announcing the Minister of Defense's visit to the city of Odessa, we commit to supporting our Ukrainian friends as much as needed." Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz assured Zelensky that Germany would not stop supporting Ukraine by all means, including military supplies.
