"Yaza": A New Victim of the Lack of Safety on Lebanon's Roads

The "Yaza" association published a photo of the citizen David Elia Jani (39 years old) who lost his life following the horrific accident that occurred in the Hazmieh area. In a statement, it said: "A new victim of the lack of safety on Lebanon’s roads... Yaza extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of David Elia Jani from Araya (age 39) who lost his life today as a result of the incident involving the truck near the City Centre in Hazmieh. It is very unfortunate what is happening on Lebanon's roads amid an almost complete absence of the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities’ role in protecting people's lives on public roads."
