Egyptian security sources reported today, Tuesday, that "an Israeli businessman named Ze'ev Kibar was killed in the Smouha area of Alexandria, northern Egypt, but the identity of the killers and their motives remain unknown." The sources indicated that he was the manager of a company involved in the export of fruits and vegetables. Meanwhile, Egyptian authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
In this context, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior has decided to form a security team to investigate the murder of the Israeli businessman. For its part, the Israeli Foreign Ministry stated that "our embassy in Cairo is dealing with the incident of the murder of an Israeli businessman in Alexandria."
