Strike in UNRWA Schools in Lebanon: "No to Incitement"

Strike in UNRWA Schools in Lebanon:

The parents' committees, the Follow-Up Committee, and the independent Palestinian student forces of the Al-Badawi camp announced a general strike tomorrow in all UNRWA schools in Lebanon. They commented in a statement on the issue of the blackmailing of Palestinian employees in UNRWA due to their national affiliation, “the latest of these issues is that of educator Fathi Sharif, director of the Deir Yassin Secondary School and head of the UNRWA Teachers’ Union, who was given a choice by the General Director between voluntary resignation or an investigation that could lead to his dismissal, due to his political affiliation, and the incitement against him by some informers.” They affirmed their absolute rejection of “the blackmailing of UNRWA employees over their support for their cause or for helping the oppressed hungry in Gaza, and that projects to detach UNRWA employees from their cause and homeland, aligning with the projects of countries hostile to our cause and people, will not succeed.” They announced their “support for the positions and actions of the UNRWA Teachers’ Union, and will accompany them on the ground, God willing,” and saw that “the solution lies in retracting these failed issues and closing them, as well as silencing the 'corrupt'.” They concluded: “The field is between the people and the conspirators against them, and victory belongs to the one who holds the field, that is, the people and their free forces.” Announcing “a general strike tomorrow in all UNRWA schools in Lebanon.”
