The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: "As part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to pursue and arrest wanted individuals, information was received by the Bekaa Investigative Unit regarding the presence of one of them in the plains of the town of Farzal in Bekaa. It was found that he is named Y. M. (born in 1986, Syrian) and is wanted under a detention warrant for theft, forming a gang, and firearms-related offenses. After careful observation and monitoring, one of the patrols from the unit managed to arrest him on March 20, 2024. The detainee was handed over to the Maalaka police station to take necessary legal action based on the instructions of the competent judiciary."
