Thefts Targeting Citizens from a Motorcycle

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued a statement saying: "As a result of investigations and inquiries conducted by the New Judicial Division of the Judicial Police Unit to curb thefts affecting many citizens, it has identified two individuals involved in these operations using a motorcycle and determined their location.

Consequently, a force from this division raided their residence in the al-Rweisat area and arrested them; they are identified as: A. F. (born in 1998, Lebanese) and A. H. (born in 2002, Lebanese). A silver motorcycle and three mobile phones were seized.

Upon interrogation, they admitted to committing several thefts together on the seized motorcycle. A. F. also stated that he had independently committed several thefts and was involved in drug use.

Several individuals who fell victim to their actions identified them and have filed personal claims against them.

The seized mobile phones were returned to their owners, and the arrested individuals, along with the items, were referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.

Therefore, based on judicial guidance, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces is disseminating their photos and requests that anyone who has been subjected to similar thefts and recognizes them should come to the aforementioned division's headquarters located near the New Judicial Palace, or contact the numbers: 901203-01 or 897109-01, in preparation for taking necessary legal measures."
