The Algerian presidency announced today, Thursday, that it has been decided to hold early presidential elections on September 7, 2024. The presidency stated in a statement that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a meeting dedicated to studying preparations for the upcoming presidential elections. It noted that the electoral body will be called on June 8, 2024.
