Austin: Washington Will Not Allow Ukraine to Fall

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin dedicated today, Tuesday, to ensuring that the United States will not allow Ukraine to fall, even if Congress hinders the release of additional aid, while Kyiv's forces are experiencing a shortage of ammunition. During the opening of a meeting in Germany for international supporters of Ukraine, Austin told reporters, "The United States will not allow Ukraine to fall." He added, "We are determined to provide Ukraine with the resources it needs to resist Kremlin aggression." The Republican-majority House of Representatives is blocking the release of $60 billion in aid for Ukraine, and the United States has warned that a recently approved package worth $300 million will only last for a few weeks.
