French Minister of Solidarity and Family, Aurélie Bergé, was compelled to delete a post on her "X" account where she endorsed an Israeli narrative regarding an alleged story about "Hamas slaughtering a child," despite the narrative being debunked. In the deleted post, Bergé wrote, "This is Hamas. And this is what Israel experienced on October 7…". The claim that "Hamas baked a baby to death in an oven" was recounted by Israeli first responder Eli Beer at a gathering, which was referenced in a tweet by American journalist Dovid Efune, seen by 15 million people.
