Basra Hosts Final of the First Gathering for the Premier Volleyball League

Today, Sunday, the province of Basra is hosting the conclusion of the first gathering of the final round of the Premier Volleyball League with two matches taking place at the Zubair Hall. The first match will feature Al-Bahri against Erbil, while the second match will see the champion of the league and cup, Gaz Al-Janoub, take on Peshmerga. Northern Refineries will be waiting on the sidelines.

In the first match, the northern team, which has shown strong performances in the Erbil gathering and celebrated a victory over Gaz Al-Janoub in the second round, will strive to continue its positive results and finish the gathering undefeated. Meanwhile, the host team Al-Bahri aims to disrupt its competitor and present a strong challenge, especially as it is considered one of the previous league champions.

The second match, starting at 5 PM, brings together Gaz Al-Janoub and Peshmerga. Under coach Alaa Khlef, Gaz Al-Janoub's players are looking to complete their task to perfection and strive to retain their title. On the other hand, despite the difficulty of facing the defending champion, the coaching staff for the representative team of Sulaymaniyah, led by Salah Kanbi, will rely on suitable tactics to secure a full score.
