Israel Arrests Professor Nadera Shalhub on Charges of Incitement

Israeli police arrested Professor Nadera Shalhub on Thursday evening on suspicion of accusing Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir welcomed Professor Shalhub's arrest, stating that it sends an important message to those who incite against "Israel," emphasizing that they will not hide under a position or title. Last March, the Hebrew University in Jerusalem had dismissed academic lecturer Nadera Shalhub due to her stance on the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.
