Etihad Airways Launches Inaugural Flight to Boston

Etihad Airways' aircraft landed in Boston for the first time yesterday, marking the start of regular flights between Abu Dhabi and Boston, enhancing relations and enriching travel options for passengers. The inaugural flight, EY147, was celebrated at Abu Dhabi International Airport before departure. Upon arrival in Massachusetts, the Etihad flight crew waved the flags of the United Arab Emirates and the United States from the cockpit to celebrate the launch of non-stop flights to the airline's fourth U.S. destination.

The new service operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays aboard the latest Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which features the airline's renowned business class cabins and smart economy seats. Etihad Airways CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, stated, "We are delighted to launch flights to Boston, which expands our reach across the United States and enhances connectivity for travelers." He added, "This new service not only brings the appeal of Abu Dhabi and Dubai to the Northeastern United States but also demonstrates our commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences and enhancing global connectivity. The flight timing has been organized to offer convenient connections for business or leisure travel to the Middle East and our 11 destinations across India."

Boston becomes Etihad Airways' fourth destination in the United States, joining Chicago, New York, and Washington, in addition to flights to Toronto, Canada. The addition of Boston reinforces Etihad Airways' commitment to providing additional connectivity options for travelers between the United States and Abu Dhabi.
