Apple Increases iCloud Service Prices in Several Countries

Apple has announced a price increase for its iCloud cloud services offered to users in various countries around the world. According to available information, the price hikes have affected users in several regions including the UK, Scandinavian countries, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and South America.

An Apple ID account holder receives 5 GB of free cloud storage via iCloud, but they can upgrade to the paid +iCloud service for storage capacities of 50 GB, 200 GB, or 2 TB. Reports indicate that the price increase for iCloud services for Apple users has reached up to 25% in some countries. For example, Apple previously charged users in the UK £0.79 per month for 50 GB of cloud storage, £2.49 for 200 GB, and £6.99 for 2 TB, but prices have now risen to £0.99, £2.99, and £8.99 per month respectively.

Similar price growth has occurred in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Tanzania, South Africa, Colombia, Peru, and Brazil. Prices in the United States, Canada, and the European Union remain unchanged.
