# Major Incident Involving Emirates Airbus A380 at Moscow Airport

Yesterday, a water tanker collided with the largest passenger aircraft in the world, an Airbus A380-800 capable of carrying 489 passengers, at Domodedovo International Airport in the outskirts of Moscow. According to the Russian channel SHOT on Telegram, the aircraft was supposed to head to Dubai, but the flight was canceled due to the incident, as the airplane sustained severe damage.

The driver of the tanker, who was supposed to supply the aircraft with drinking water, mistakenly confused the accelerator and brake pedals. It was revealed, according to SHOT, that the driver's health deteriorated suddenly while he was behind the wheel and he suffered a stroke, preventing him from stopping his vehicle, which crashed into the underside of the enormous aircraft. Vladimir, 59 years old, was transferred to a hospital in Moscow, where doctors described his condition as critical.

It is noted that the aircraft, valued at $500 million, was empty of passengers at the time of the incident. The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency and the Transport Prosecutor's Office were informed about the accident at the airport. The aircraft has been removed from service for repairs. According to SHOT, no passengers were injured in the accident.
