Reports indicate that an Israeli airstrike hit a vehicle carrying United Nations observers outside the border town of Rmeish in southern Lebanon today, Saturday. The reports mentioned that four members of the international force were injured as a peacekeeping vehicle was subjected to missile fire in Rmeish. The vehicle targeted by the Israeli drone in the Qattum Valley on the outskirts of Rmeish contained three officers from the UN Truce Supervision Organization: one Australian, one Chilean, and one Norwegian, along with a Lebanese translator. The Israeli military claimed that it did not target any UNIFIL vehicles in Rmeish.
Earlier today, Israeli warplanes conducted two airstrikes on the town of Taybeh in southern Lebanon. The Hebrew news site "Walla News," citing residents, reported that a missile fell in the north without triggering alarm sirens, noting that the sound of the explosion was unusually loud. The missile landed in the area of the Merhavia settlement near the border with Lebanon. Meanwhile, the Lebanese "Hezbollah" stated that its fighters targeted the Israeli Ramim military base in the Upper Galilee with a Burkan missile, achieving a direct hit.
