Arrest of Artist's Wife: Transferred to Security Center

Turkish authorities have arrested the wife of Egyptian artist Hisham Abdullah, who is currently fleeing in Turkey, amidst uncertainty regarding the reason. Ghada Nagy, the wife of the Egyptian artist, stated in a video on her social media page that she was surprised when Turkish police knocked on her door, asking her to get dressed and accompany them to a security center for questioning. According to her, she believes that the decision to detain her is related to some of her tweets on social media. Last October, Turkish authorities arrested the artist's wife and held her in an immigration prison in Malatya, which is a thousand kilometers away from Istanbul, before later transferring her to a detention center in Erzurum Province.
