Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in the capital Kyiv today, discussing the grain export agreement via the Black Sea from which Russia withdrew last month. Zelensky wrote on Telegram: "We discussed many important issues, including the Ukrainian peace formula, preparations for the global peace summit being organized by Ukraine, and the risks posed by the Russian blockade on the grain corridor through the Black Sea." The agreement, mediated by Turkey and the United Nations, allowed for the safe export of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea. Ankara is trying to persuade Moscow to return to the agreement's terms.
