The unemployment rate in Turkey decreased to 9.4 percent in the year 2023, marking the lowest level in the last ten years. This was reported by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Monday, regarding unemployment data for the previous year 2023. The number of unemployed individuals reached 3 million and 264 thousand in 2023, reflecting a decrease of 318 thousand compared to 2022. The unemployment rate was recorded at 10.4 percent in 2022 and 8.9 percent in 2013, reaching its lowest level in the past ten years last year.
