One person died and others were injured due to "severe turbulence" experienced by a Singapore Airlines plane during a flight from London to Singapore, before it was diverted to Bangkok, the company announced on Tuesday. The airline wrote on Facebook: "We can confirm that there were injuries and one fatality on board the Boeing 777-300 ER," noting that the aircraft was carrying "211 passengers and 18 crew members."
