Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani arrived today, Sunday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to participate in the World Economic Forum. The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a release that "Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani arrived this morning in Riyadh to participate in the World Economic Forum, at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz."
It added that "al-Sudani will hold a series of meetings on the sidelines of the forum, which is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the theme 'International Cooperation, Growth, and Energy for Development', with several leaders of countries and with heads and representatives of major global companies specializing in the fields of energy and digital technology."
The statement clarified that "the forum aims to support global dialogue and find solutions to common global challenges, and will witness the presence of several heads of state, as well as significant participation from international experts and thinkers from governmental and private sectors, international organizations, and academic institutions from 92 countries."
