Qawq: Lebanon Will Only Be a Battleground for Enemy Defeats

Sheikh Nabil Qawq, a member of the Central Council of "Hezbollah," emphasized that "the party works to protect our people and our country, not to reassure the Israeli enemy, and we are not the ones begging for our security or the security of our people and country from anyone." He stated during a commemorative event held by the "party" for "the martyr on the road to Jerusalem," Abbas Khadr Nasser, at the Imam Ali Hussainiya in Al-Hosh: "The foreign delegations coming to Lebanon are merely promoting the Israeli demands. They want guarantees for Israel, and we are not the ones to provide guarantees to the enemy, who knows that any battle with Lebanon will result in consequences far greater than the defeat of Gaza. When they think of war with Lebanon, they account for many factors because the resistance is prepared for all possibilities and surprises. Lebanon will only be a field for their defeats and a ground for our victories."

He added: "The Israeli enemy has failed to emerge from the depths of defeat and to change the course of the war despite all the American support, massacres, and starvation. For four months, they have been unable to recover their captives or kill Hamas leaders or eliminate the resistance. They are faced with a bitter reality: if they remain in Gaza, their losses will continue, and if they withdraw, their losses will still persist. All the calamities of the nation and the wars in the region are caused by Israel, which was planted by Britain and protected, supported, and financed by America, which is responsible for this suffering and tension."

He viewed that "the shortest, safest, and only way to defuse tensions in the region is to stop the aggression on Gaza." He concluded: "Iran today is the strong support and the primary strategic ally for all resistance factions in the region, which has changed all equations and brought the Israeli project to a dead end, pushing the nation to emerge from the era of defeats to create a future of victories."
