In the context of Lebanese internal developments, there is a growing Arab interest in assisting Lebanese parties to reduce the gaps that separate them by narrowing the margins through finding common denominators, a process now referred to in the Lebanese political lexicon as "intersection." In this context, as previously mentioned by "Al-Anbaa," the head of the "Free Patriotic Movement," MP Gebran Bassil, has received an invitation to visit the Qatari capital, Doha, and it is known that he will accept it, with a date already set. Meanwhile, other Arab capitals continue to foster a positive atmosphere, urging the parties in Lebanon to distance themselves and the country from the dramatic developments in the region. The concerned Arab capitals insist on "the necessity of allowing the Lebanese to determine their own destiny, providing them with all the necessary assistance to emerge from the bottleneck, without getting involved with any of the parties in internal issues." The concerned capitals, including one that has always been a deserving host for Lebanon, are keen to provide all possible help to prevent the country from sliding into dangerous pitfalls during this difficult time the region is experiencing.
