The Secretary-General of the Arab League Sends a Message to Netanyahu

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, stated that "if the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, positions Israeli forces on the border with Egypt, this is not in the interest of peace." Aboul Gheit said, "Because the future of peace in the region transcends the interests of a Prime Minister in maintaining power to avoid imprisonment." He directed a message to Netanyahu saying, "I advise Netanyahu not to test Egypt or the strength of Aswan granite." He confirmed that "there are ongoing Arab efforts regarding the Palestinian issue, and the people of Gaza do not have a source for their daily sustenance."
