The military spokesperson for the "Ansar Allah" group, Yahya Saree, announced today, Friday, the commencement of the fourth phase of the group's escalation in its operations targeting ships heading to Israeli ports. He confirmed that "we will target all ships that violate the navigation ban to Israel imposed by the Houthis in the Mediterranean Sea and other areas accessible to Ansar Allah." He threatened to impose sanctions on all ships linked to the ports "if the Israeli enemy carries out an aggressive operation in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip." Additionally, Saree affirmed that the armed forces "will not hesitate to prepare and be ready for broader and stronger escalation phases."
