Local media reported today, Wednesday, about the arrest of a well-known Egyptian blogger from Giza, named Nadine Tarek, for posting videos that violated public morals. According to the news, the security forces in the Giza Security Directorate monitored videos that were deemed indecent and inciting immorality by a well-known blogger on social media. After legal procedures were taken and a prior permission was obtained from the Public Prosecution, the police managed to arrest the accused.
However, a source close to the blogger "Nadine Tarek" revealed details about her arrest following a dispute with her husband, Mohamed El-Nemani. The source categorically denied the claims that she was arrested due to indecent videos, stating to "Cairo 24" that the reality is that Nadine Tarek filed a complaint at the Heliopolis Police Station, along with an initial medical report from Heliopolis Hospital, which indicated injuries.
The report mentioned that upon conducting an apparent medical examination on her, there were scattered bruises and abrasions on her body, and she filed a complaint against her husband, accusing him of assaulting her and their infant child. Social media pages had circulated that the security forces arrested blogger Nadine Tarek after monitoring her indecent videos.
