Social media users in Saudi Arabia praised a "heroic" rescue operation carried out by citizen Ayed Al-Aklabi in Wadi Jabha in Bisha, where he managed to save young people trapped in the flood. A circulated video shows Ayed Al-Aklabi driving a bulldozer towards the youths who were stuck in the stream, while two others helped them climb onto the front of the bulldozer. The video captures the citizen pulling the young men while fighting against the force of the flood, and he successfully brought them out safely, as several onlookers gathered to watch the rescue, with one person heard saying to the bulldozer driver, "May your face be white."
