The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported that the Israeli army killed two Palestinians during incursions in the West Bank on Sunday morning. The agency stated that Israeli forces shot and killed Issam Al-Fayed, 46, a person with disabilities, at the entrance of the Jenin refugee camp. It later reported the death of a young man, Omar Al-Laham, 20, after being shot in the head by Israeli forces in the Dheisheh camp south of Bethlehem.
The Israeli army entered the city of Jenin at dawn, and violent confrontations occurred between Palestinian citizens and Israeli forces in several neighborhoods of the city, where the forces raided three neighborhoods. According to eyewitnesses, a large contingent of the Israeli army, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed Jenin and spread throughout several neighborhoods, positioning their snipers on the rooftops of various houses and buildings.
Palestinian television reported that this incursion is "the largest and widest since 2002," with more than 100 Israeli military vehicles entering the city, equivalent to about 1,000 soldiers. Operations included arrests, cutting off electricity, water, and communications, and demolitions around the Jenin camp. On the other hand, the Arab News Agency reported that an Israeli military force raided the city of Nablus from its eastern entrance, accompanied by bulldozers.
