Ukrainian shelling resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to four others in a village near the Russian city of Belgorod, according to regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on Monday. He stated, "In the Belgorod region, after air defenses repelled an aerial attack from the Ukrainian army, two people were killed and four others were injured in the village of Nikolskoe." Additionally, the Ukrainian Air Force announced today that Ukrainian air defense systems destroyed 17 of the 22 drones launched by Russia overnight. The Air Force wrote on Telegram that alongside the drone attack, Russia also fired seven missiles at Ukraine. The fate of the missiles or the drones that were not destroyed remains unclear.
